I just saw American Splendor
I just saw American Splendor ... interesting movie, I expected it to be more enjoyable, but it was still good.
One thing I can't stop thinking about, is the role of Harvey Pecar is MADE for Al Pacino.
He is a real life al pacino ... he could have been portrayed by him soooo much better ... I guess Pacino wasn't young enough to play him .... what a shame.

I saw AMERICAN SPLENDOR a few months ago, and I've known about Pekar for years,
but WHOOO! Al Pacino playing Harvey??
Bit of a stretch, for me...
I think it'd be a waste of Pacino's talent.
Pekar's such a one-note, whining, malcontent that Pacino would be bored playing him.
Just my opinion, of course.
