Sunday digest
I don't feel like I'm contributing when I don't have any sketches to accompany my posts! Eventhough they should all be going in the sketchpad which I'm still too lazy to make, but anyway. Excellently productive day, I went to school, and figured the only way I'm going to study is to drag my behind to the library, so I did, and in 4 hours, I rediscovered that I actually CAN solve homeworks myself, without getting all the answers from the internet !!! Felt good! Let's see YOU try and find the equivalent Runge-Kutta tableu for a given extremely obscure implicit ODE formula, and figure out the order conditions and the stability region.
And as for the evening, I don't think you can ever go wrong with the company of two beautiful ladies.
In an unrelated matter, I'm getting a digital camera, but I'm facing a dilemma, I can either get an excellent camera, which is what I really want, OR, with that money I can get a very good graphics tablet (which would be of GREAT use to me, doing all that coloring and image processing with the mouse - and more usually the touchpad - is NOT fun), and there would be some money left to buy a mediocre camera.
So I don't know ... both of them are things I really want and I really use, and I want both of them to be high-end. Hmm ...
.
since i don't know what the hell a graphics tablet is (but i suspect it's not edible) i recommend that you buy the excellent camera. the revenue from the high-quality pornography you can produce using this camera will then pay for the purchase of various other things.
k.s.

Depends on how much you are really going to use the camera. Also, how good is the graphic tablet for doing graphic design! Do other graphic designers use such things?
I suggest you buy a kodak disposable camera everytime you need to take pictures!!

So in other words you're sort of suggesting I buy neither ... hmmm ... why do I feel I know someone who'de make those suggestions ;)
Still undecided, leaning more towards the camera, eventhough I think I'd use the tablet more.
The tablet is very good for doing designs, it's a tablet and a digital pen, you can draw/paint directly on the screen ... the pen works like a mouse does, except it is pressure sensitive and of course easier to work with than a mouse.

well it depends on what you want to spend the time on. The guy who does www.penny-arcade.com uses a graphics tablet and he loves it.
On the other hand I have the 300d and just got a new lens for it. The problem with the 300d is that you will spend a lot of time and money on lenses. If you are going to stay with the kit lens then you might as well just get a canon G3 or G5 why get the digital SLR if not for the lenses ?
Also are you going to spend a lot of time in the manual mdoes ? If you are already familiar with all the manual stuff it's a great buy.

asad, I could kill you for telling me about that site ... I've been in it for about 2 hours now ... it's amazing ... I was pretty sure about getting the camera, but I think now I'm getting the tablet ... wow ...

hehe sorry I spend so much time online that I don't realize that sometimes the sites I take for granted might be new to other people. I will have a post about online comics sometime next week hopefully that wont take too much more of your time ;)
Not to take anymore of your time but if you look around the PA site you will see he has some videos on how he actually draws the comic, which is probably more interesting to you than it was to me since I am not much of an artist.
