Iran Returns to the United States
Iranian national team is going to play a friendly against LA galaxy on April 28, in Rose Bowl, Pasadena. More info here.
Another game against a south american side in DC might be in the making. Why the heck aren't they playing the US national team? I'd definitely go to the DC one if it's a team worth watching (no Guatemala crap please)
update: Believe it or not, it is now confirmed that they are actually going to play against GUATEMALA !!!! How bizarre is that? crap.
update #2: Crap, Iran played Laos today, I thought it was tomorrow. World cup Quals, Iran won 7-0 (naturally). Damn, I wanted to watch the game.
update #3: Korea, with their full squad, were held to a 0-0 draw by Maldives in their world cup quals today !!!!! (same maldives that lost 17-0 to Iran a few years ago) ... what's happening to Asian football?
.
I know man, why is Iran always playing some crappy Central American team. Either Guatamala or Honduras.
Where do you watch the Iran games?

Haha! I remember our game against Maldives. I remember for the second game (bazie bargasht), Iranians sort of took it easy on the poor suckers after the 7th goal, and gave them a break! I was SO pissed, kept thinking they were gonna screw it up any second; they could’ve tried to break their own record of 17!!!!

heheh, I remember that too Sheyda, but I felt sorry for Maldives, even in the 17-0 case. It's just not right, after the 5th you just gotta take it easy, it's a mattery of courtesy ... why humiliate an obviously weaker team?
hehe, I'm REALLY proud of Maldives though, they have come such a long long way from that time, stopping Korea, what a monumental acheivement, my hats off to them ... :)
