Last life in the Universe

I just saw Pen-ek Ratanaruang's "The Last Life in the Universe". Think "Lost in Translation", set in Thailand, but less Hollywood, slower, more minimal yet hallucinative. It was brilliant. The experience was like browsing an all-star issue of Print , thanks to Chris Doyle's cinematography.

Incidentally (or not), my two other recent favorites are Lost in Translation and Eternal Sunshine. Detect a pattern here? Apparently I'm a sucker for weird romances with inconclusive endings, and I can't believe I just said that.
