The power of christ compells me to screw you

The church right by my place have recently installed a shiny new digital signage board, displaying information about their weekly events and stuff (god forbid they display any useful info like time and weather). In between these anouncements they flash spiritual messages. One of them has really stuck in my head

It said "forgive your enemies, nothing annoys them more". The first part makes sense, but I really don't understand the annoying part. So according to the church, my biggest motivation for forgiving my enemies is becuase it annoys them? And the reason I should forgive them is because that's what gives them the ultimate annoyment!
So, if I'm not too greedy and I settle for lesser forms of annoyments, I could do other stuff that are annoying, like, prank calling them.
