mmmm lentils

I open the lentil can - my new best friend. I scoop a spoonful. Before gulping my protein-rich spoonful of lentils I can't help but notice the little sprouts on it. Reminds me of Norooz; the Persian new year.

I don't remember them having sprouts before. I look at the picture on the can. The lentils on the picture have sprouts too. Must be normal then. Maybe I never noticed them before.
