blogging from Afghanistan
We used to have a crazy friend here who talked about wanting to go work in Afghanistan for a year or so, but then he would keep coming back to Toronto. We didn't mind because he made great steak.
He finally did go, a few months ago, and he's in Afghanistan right now. It's very hard not to think about him, since he took my tripod's quick-release with him (by accident?! hmm) and so I haven't been able to shoot night pictures for two months.
The good thing is he's not being totally useless, and he's actually blogging every now and then from Afghanistan, which is sort of fun to read. So go check it out.

You should hope he doesn't make any special-recipe steaks over there, or you may never see that quick-release again ;)

I completely forgot! I left it with y brother who was supposed to somehow bring it to you. i'll ask him again what he did with it.
Anyway, as far as the blog goes, i have so much to write but quite frankly, i'm just oo lazy. I try though. You should try writing more often too.
Ehsan, as you may know, i wasn't able to come to dubai on the way to Sri Lanka. I'm fairly sure i'll be coming there in march though so hopefully i'll see you then.
